The Bubinga Librada
The Librada is my acoustic/electric guitar design. This guitar is made with bubinga back and sides and a Carpathian spruce soundboard, maple binding, laminated neck, rosewood fingerboard, and Gotoh 510 mini tuning machines. There is a pin-less bridge design and the strings are grounded to reduce noise. Also included is a “sun” side port, bone nut and saddle, and mother of pearl inlays.
The electronics are a K&K pure pickup, and a hand made Kent Armstrong humbucker. It has two volumes and a tone control, plus push/pull switching from series to parallel humcanceling options, and separate output jacks for each pickup.
This guitar was on loan to several players and some changes were made to the electronics as a result of the advice I received from the players. I have completely gone over the guitar and it is in good condition but I am selling it as used. It does come with the factory warranty and case. The list price new is $5800. This used model is $3300.
