Pricing Many people ask me about the price of my guitars. I don't have a set price list for each option simply because I do custom work and the options are extensive. I do plan on listing specific prices for some options in the future but it is best to contact me and let me know what you have in mind.
Acoustic flattop guitars (steel string or nylon stringed) I have a base price for acoustic guitars of $2600 and they can go as high as $7500. A basic acoustic guitar is still a very nice guitar. It would be a solid mahogany or maple back and sides and a solid sitka spruce soundboard. The neck would be mahogany or maple. The body binding is maple with a rosewood fingerboard and an ebony head-cap and ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins, bone nut and saddle. Gotoh tuning machines are included as well as a two way truss rod, D'Addario strings, pearl inlays, lacquer finish, a hard shell case and lifetime warranty. All acoustic guitars have scalloped bracing and the tops are tap tuned to bring out the woods full potential. Upgrades include cutaways, Waverly tuning machines, premium woods like Koa, Malaysian Blackwood, Rosewood or Adirondack spruce, sound ports, Ebony finger board, neck and headstock binding, more pearl inlays, twelve strings, custom art work, baratone neck, piezo pickups, Ameritage case, etc.
Electric guitars Electric guitars start at $2100 and can go up to $6000. My basic electric guitars are anything but basic. They include an Alder body, bolt on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, jumbo frets, two way truss rod and gotoh tuning machines. Choice of two Lindy Fralin Humbucker or single coil pickups, a selector switch, two volume and a tone control, a Hipshot hard tail bridge, clear or colored lacquer finish, a hard shell case and a lifetime warranty. Upgrades include fingerboard or body binding, gold hardware, Buzz Feiten tuning system, strap locks, sunburst finish, more inlays, Ameritage case, Kahler or Floyd Rose tremolo with locking nut, quilted or flame maple drop top, custom body shapes, neck through design, semi-hollow bodies, baratone neck, carve top, active electronics, piezo saddles, double necks, seven strings or twelve strings, B-bender, built in overdrive, side pipes, switch blades, flame throwers, etc.
Archtop Guitars Archtop guitars start at $5000 and can go to $9000. A $5000 archtop guitar is a non cutaway 17" body with european flame maple back and sides and a european flame maple neck with a european spruce soundboard. It includes rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays, rosewood binding and tailpiece, two way truss rod, gold Gotoh tuning machines and maple binding on the neck and headstock with an ebony head cap. The bridge is also rosewood with a bone saddle. It comes with a suspended pickup that is hand made by Kent Armstrong. There is a volume control, lacquer finish, a hard shell case and a lifetime warranty. All archtop guitars have hand carved tops and backs. Upgrades include cutaway, highly flamed maple, sunburst finish, gold tail piece, f-hole binding, more inlays, Imperial tuning machines, Ameritage case etc.
