The OOO

The 000 and the OM are sometimes hard to distinguish. They may even have the same body design. The main difference is the scale length. The 000 has a 24.9" scale length. This shorter scale gives the guitar a sweeter sound. There are two body shapes associated with the 000. One was designed for a 12 fret model and the other was designed for the 14 fret model. This historic designs' popularity is rebounding but finger pickers have always enjoyed the sweet clear sound of the 000.

This Triple O is 12 frets to the body and has a 24.9" scale length. It is made with cocobolo back and sides and Adirondack spruce soundboard. The binding is curly maple. The neck is mahogany. It features abalone inlays, a slotted head stock and pyramid bridge. On this guitar I have used the body style of the 14 fret model and made a 12 fret guitar with it. It is compact design with remarkable acoustic results.

This triple 0 guitar is also a twelve fret guitar but it has the traditional twelve fret body. The scale length is 25.4. The nut and saddle and bridge pins are bone. It is made with an Adirondack soundboard and an Indian Rosewood back and sides. The bridge and the fingerboard are also Indian Rosewood. The binding is curly maple. The Inlays are white mother of pearl. The pyramid bridge and slotted peg head and the marquetry purfling and rosette give this guitar a unique retro look. Waverly tuning machines help make this a special instrument.

Jatoba cutaway OOO

This guitar has a Brazilian Cherry back and sides (also known as Jatoba). The soundboard is from the same tree as the guitars from the Sonic Sitka Project, in fact this guitar is a part of that project. The shape is a very traditional style 12 fret design but it is updated with a cutaway for greater acess to the upper frets while still keeping that great sound that 12 fret guitars have. The bridge and the headstock also have the modern look.
